What if you use cocaine or weed responsibly? What if you just smoke weed? It's ridiculous. It wont impact your ability to perform. Probably half the employees are on aderall anyway.

You still shouldn't be subjected to drug tests. It's all a scam: organizations are lied to and manipulated into thinking it's necessary. The tests are expensive and don't stop addicts from getting employment.
The only drug it would reliably catch is weed. Everything else is out of your system in under a week. 1-2 days, really.
I know a chick who wasn't hired back at her old job because the day before she took the drug test she took a Valium to help her sleep. She ddnt have a prescription, but didnt think twice about it.
Drug tests make a lot of money for the labs/offices collecting/running them. I worked at a chiropractor's office who collected them. Why did they collect them? Because it was $$. they didn't handle any lab samples. It made no sense. It would be easier to go directly to a lab to pee in a cup. The one chiropractor explained it all to me.
There would be people who were obviously addicts that came in. They would try to get me to take their urine when the chiropractor's were closed (the dr I worked Just rented an office). The one guy flat out told me he had to take it right then because he wouldn't be able to pass later. It was mostly walmart and burger king. It's a massive waste of money that prevents only weed smokers, the least likely to steal to fund their habit (less likely than a video game addict).
