No, it allows Minecraft to be launched from a web link, and the launcher can be passed information, like a server IP.

Interesting read, and the implications are also interesting. Lol at most of the height not being defined as constants. And tbh people should be allowed to define their own max height when generating a new world.

If you read the whole thing, you'll see that they are going to make it work. They can double the world height and have the game perform well, they just can't triple or quadruple it without running into problems. And that email was after just 4 hours of mucking with code, there are optimizations to make!
