The thing about that image is that you've got to pick your moments with it- and this is such a moment.

Do you mean to say the NHS hasn't received the "extra 350 million pounds" that "we send the EU every week", and that Boris Johnson was lying when he wrote it on the sides of buses?

It's fuckin shit mate. I thought when all the foreigners fuck off back to Bulgaria I'd get a 6 figure job. I've got a GCSE in General Studies and worked for 2 weeks in my uncle's chip shop 10 years ago.

Were they supposed to do a new budget on day 0?

Don't worry man, the job offer will come in any day. Now that all the black people doing menial work for minimum wage have been kicked out, you'll make 2000 pounds a week cleaning hotel bedrooms 60 hours a week.

It's weird. The news keeps predicting apocalyptic outcomes from populist policies - like electing Donald Trump or leaving the EU - which somehow never seem to materialize. If you read Fake News like Bezos' tabloid Washington Post (where Democrats cry in the darkness) you'd think we would have had nuclear war by now ?

I've never heard of "apocalypic outcomes". That sounds a little hyperbolic describing economic downturns or difficulty or even long-term decline or unwanted expensive consequences that I have heard discussed.
