I never got why he was running for president. A relatively unaccomplished house member who lost a senate race thinks he can win the presidency? Run against Cornyn or something. Boot idge idge is a worse offender but I also think he should drop out so idk.

What is O'Rourke's plan? He lost the senate race but it did bring him to national prominence. He lost the nomination but it brought him to even more fame and name awareness. I can see a certain logic in entering fights you have no chance in hell of winning just to get your name out there but where is this going? Back to the house? CNN political commentator? A book deal? Mayor of El Paso? Reality TV? What?

I think his plan was take Cruz's senate seat. He almost got away with it. I don't know what the idea was with the presidential bid. He's still young and can just keep running for stuff. Maybe he's just keeping his name out there trying to remain politcally relevant.

No idea. Maybe he wants a super powerful position in the Texas state Democratic party? But he easily could have gotten that without all this running for president stuff as a House member. It's really confusing to me.
