Should pay relatively high taxes?

Definitely...but when these Liberalcrats say 90% they're fucking STUPID..

But someone needs to finance the unemployed, no? Where else do you think welfare money comes from?

Anonymous D joined in and replied with this 6 years ago, 9 minutes later, 46 minutes after the original post[^] [v] #1,055,370

@1,055,362 (B)
Why? Why do you think someone who makes, let's say, a billion a year, should not be taxed at 90% after $50 million? Is $50 million not enough?

Answer the question Bert

It's an absurd question lol.

Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 6 years ago, 6 minutes later, 1 hour after the original post[^] [v] #1,055,389

@previous (B)
Then why not answer it and enlighten me? Why is it so important to you, a poor jobless man, that the rich guy get his $51 million?

Anonymous B replied with this 6 years ago, 8 minutes later, 1 hour after the original post[^] [v] #1,055,397

@previous (A)
Sit and think for awhile and you might understand why your question of whether a person who ' makes a billion dollars in a year' should give 90% of the billion
over 50,000,000 of it up...is absurd.

I feel sorry for you that you don't understand something so simple.

Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 6 years ago, 39 seconds later, 1 hour after the original post[^] [v] #1,055,398

@previous (B)
Then explain it to me instead of avoiding the question. Why is $50 million a year not enough for a single human being?

Anonymous B replied with this 6 years ago, 10 minutes later, 1 hour after the original post[^] [v] #1,055,404

@1,055,389 (A)
I will give you a bit of help.
What is the person doing...what is involved in how that billion comes to be?

I will say yes...if a person somehow sits in a jacuzzi and drinks champagne every day and somehow has a billion dollars delivered to him...and is not integral to an enormous process which produces that billion dollar sum...then hypotheticaly yes...(maybe)tax him in the manner you proscribe..

But chances are SEVERAL times that 50 million went into the process of producing that Billion..

Are you getting it..

Do you feel that if someone who owns a company that employs 2000 people and the business has gross sales of
10 million a year...that the owner gets to put 10 million in his bank account?
It doesn't work that way.

So you think that people exponentially richer than you will ever e, and who have more money than they could use in 100 lifetimes, should just get richer. Again, why do you, a poor, unemployed homeless person, defend the mega rich? That is my original question.

Anonymous B replied with this 6 years ago, 23 minutes later, 2 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,055,413

If You are making 50,000 a year a homeless person stopping by your house should not have the right to ride off on a motorcycle out of your garage should he?

For the same reason the Government shouldn't be allowed to just decide one day to tax Richie rich folks and give poor people a check with it.

You people are so naive. The math has already been done on this shit anyway...if they taxed the richest of the top wealth owners at 90% it wouldn't pay for a 10th of all these socialist schemes which are proposed by this New Green deal bullshit..

AND THATS...If all those rich folks would even begin to keep doing (as if lol) what they are doing when you take 90% of their money away..

Liberalism is a mental disorder..

Literally no one is suggesting this. It's incorrect. It's a bad analogy. It's not remotely related to the issue. Even hypothetical homeless motorcycle thieves probably realize that what they are doing is wrong. I think most of problem is that the only arguments you hear about taxation are stupid strawman positions like this.

Give something back? Like employing millions of people and giving them paychecks with which to support themselves and their families...thus also indirectly providind huge amounts of capital to the State and Federal Government via income taxes and sales taxes those millions of employees pay?

Yes, I support that..

Business owners are responsible 24/7 for taking care of business. Nine to fivers line up at four thirty when they should still be working...to clock out and run home to watch wheel of Fortune at the end of the shift.
