Your Chinese sucks, but my university is a real, physical, accredited university. You do not even have a degree!

Nightstand? Dresser? Obviously these are pictograms trying to communicate that the writer watches TV in bed night after night. I don't think the furniture that supports the television is too important in this context.

It says 日向 on its own indicates a place name, and it looks like it's a common prefix to proper names of places, surnames and female names especially. So I imagine 日向日向 would therefore be the proper name of a place which is described by the word itself. When broken down further, 日向 means "sun" (日) "side/yonder" (向).

Have you tried searching for the text without translating it?

"ri" refers to the sun or a day, and "xiang" has many meaning, but in this case, could mean a state or a place (in Chinese, so I assume Japanese is similar in meaning)

Try an actual complicated text and then we'll talk. I'm the sharp tool in the shower. Thanks.

Okay. New theory:
日 = a form of the verb "to be" that is singular and present tense that would be roughly equivalent to "there is"
向 = fog

I don't know, but I can say for a fact that Indy could not do it. He is one of that hapless middle-aged men who goes to a foreign country for years but does not pick up even a little of the language.
