It is with great regret that we announce today the passing of beloved Minichan poster Syntax, who died peacefully in his sleep, age 77.Syntax was an important member of our fora ever since it began operating. Originally a CIA secret agent and satellite hacker, he eventually retired to a luxury life of lobster dancing and beach running, where he lived out the rest of his days in a bitter feud with a fat man from the swamps of Louisiana.
Through his boundless generosity and donations, he supported this website from the very beginning, and with the help of his expert advice, we have gone from strength to strength. He will be missed.
His name lives on though. Today we are proud to announce the creation of the Minichan.org Syntax Foundation, named in honor of this great man.
This thread will be left open to provide everyone the opportunity to pay their respects to the deceased, and post an animated gif in his memory. Please note that there is to be NO TROLLING of any kind. Thank you.
