A pure-blooded white Briton serving food to blacks, that's some Forrest Gump shit right there.

Not serving at all, more like bringing it to the hogs and tossing it into the trough.

As I understand, our resident Übermensch knocks on the doors and obsequiously delivers people, including potentially blacks, Poles, Muslims and other rodents, their food, hoping they will give him a pound tip. I can't imagine the humiliation he must feel, as a member of the master race.

Not mad at all. It amuses me to think of a pure-blooded Briton delivering food potentially to foreigners and hoping they'll tip him a pound or 2.

An Americano is a regular coffee

Not really. Regular coffee is coffee brewed without using pressure. Caffe Americano is espresso, which is then diluted with hot water to approximately the same strength as regular coffee. Espresso is extracted under pressure at ~15 bar and has a different flavor profile (and usually a darker roast) than regular brewed coffee.

Yeah I'm just saying it's the same price and same level of not-fancy as a filter coffee.

they do have regular coffee, you have to ask for a 'pour-over' or they won't know what you mean

It's a class thing, really. Coming from the lower classes, I just drink (and order) regular coffee. Like I know what all the Italian coffee drink names mean but it just doesn't feel right because they didn't have fancy coffeehouses in the working class town I grew up in. People just drank "coffee" (filter coffee) and that was that.
@1,054,615 (Ananthanarayanan M R)
It's not listed on the menu. Probably they would make one for me if I asked but it's not listed because they want to keep the proles out of their effete little yuppie coffeehouse.

It may also be locational. Americanos seem more standard in Europe.

I guess you have a point with Euro vs. American thing. Starbucks has regular coffee on the menu but even then they still insist on the retarded "Italian" tall/grande/venti sizes instead of small/medium/large. I know a lot of these coffee drinks are Italian in origin so I don't object to them retaining their Italian names in America but do the sizes need to be in Italian, too? It's just retarded. Just say small/medium/large.

The sizes aren't really in italian though, they're just meant to look vaguely exotic/European to appeal to Americans. Tall isn't an Italian word, grande = large but it's the medium, and venti = 20 which at least makes sense because it's 20 fluid ounces.
