Swinging is not really my thing, but I'm interested in all kinds of things, especially decent documentaries, the subject is rarely important if the documentary is done right.

Like I said, I streamed it on Amazon.
What I really found fascinating is the documentary focuses on a club called "Plato's", that started out as a gay club but turned into a swingers club. One of the rules was that no one was allowed in fully clothed. Another rule was prostitutes are not allowed, because it was supposed to be all about free sex.
It was impossible to go into the place and not get laid. It was like one big orgy. It didn't matter how fat you were, or how ugly you were, or how old you were, or whatever. Everyone was just so open and uninhibited that it was just like "fuck it" and everyone did exactly what they felt like. I just found that to be so beautiful.

Most the ones I know of, you have to go with a partner. Men aren't allowed in without a woman with them in order to keep the clubs from becoming just a club full of pervy old men waiting around to molest whatever comes in the door.

Yes, that's true, they are swinger clubs after all. There are ones that allow people of all sexualities though, and those ones obviously will let men in without women. Both types of clubs have their benefits. The ones where you have to bring a partner have a better balance, but ones where it's a free for all seem like they can be more open, even if there are more guys than gals. Also, "molestation" is not allowed, as one solid rule is no means no. Everyone seems pretty open though, and no one is labeled as a "perv" because everyone is so open about what they're there for.

My friend went to one that sounded like this. The cops showed up and the hosts let them in (like idiots). They kept saying shit like "this is a fire hazard" and were shining their flashlights around so people started to leave.
People are so uptight. They don't even want people to have consensual sex with people for free.

One of the things they talk about in the film is how when AIDS started to become a problem, they made "high-risk sex" illegal, and they went around and forced all the gay clubs and clubs like this to shut down. It sickens me that to this day we still have authorities showing up and using whatever bullshit they can to stop it. That's yet another reason that makes me want to start one. We need to take a stand.

I go to clubs and stuff now where people are pretty open, but this...I want this lifestyle so bad. It makes the games people play at the clubs seem like child's play. I just want that openess.
