I have a huge horror film collection. That is literally the one film I can't/won't ever watch. The animal cruelty they did in this film is sickening. And it's a shame because the film has one of the most incongruously beautiful theme songs.
As for the OP, yes I like the FF genre. Recently there have been a lot of very creative films that make use of social media found footage. The Den (also known as Hacked) is one of the very few films to have actually scared me, and I don't frighten easily. I thought that was just about the creepiest idea I could imagine and it stayed with me for days.
