Indians (north American natives) were treated harshly in the U.S. early on...but Canada treated them as separate and inferior much longer than did the U.S.

I'm totally fine with the canadian version of the holiday lacking the bloody history of the american one, regardless of canada's otherwise horrific track record of treatment of natives

Plus i love me a holiday that i get paid for not working, have had a few of those since starting with this firm
