It has a different pitch depending on what colors are on the screen. Lots of white for example produces a lower pitched squeal than when there's lots of black. What causes this? I'm sure it's about to die, it's like ten years old, so it's probably something to do with that. It's a CRT by the way.

Probably not worth the effort to fix it then. I'll get a new one eventually, but until then I'll just turn up the sound to block out the squeal.
