Retail stores are evil and treat their workers like shit for the most part however being a package handler for Amazon seems like it’s probably worse

Coffee and charity shops will replace them and there will be no point ever going into town again. The economy will become stagnant.

I don't ever go to the mall, except on very rare occasions. What do I care if they disappear from existence?

Shopping malls can choke on a bag of dicks.
I remember going to the city when you needed a new pair of shoes or some clothes. We'd spend the whole day in the city, walking around from shop to shop, chilling at caffees eating pastry, going for icecream or just relaxing and shit talking with random people in parks.
Ever since shopping malls started popping up, shopping is such a cold and sterile experience. Fuck that shit.

and then came the "big box" stores, plopped in some nowhere land you have to drive to, and even have to drive to one store to the next. There are no sidewalks in the area. And that is what has drawn people away from even the limited social world that the mall had to offer. The architecture of these stores is warehouse with bullshit stuck on the front. The style is so unremarkable that no one has the heart to name it, except for me: warehouse with bullshit stuck on the front.
