This made for a nice Sunday afternoon read. I'll try to give them all a read as they come out. I enjoyed some of the general observations. I don't know if I'm fully on board with his engine metaphor, but I'll trudge along to see what he does with it. Does he need to compare stuff to Hitler so often? Is his plan to get me to exercise and refresh my eyes by rolling them at regular intervals while I read?

I remember this chap! He published a lot of amusing drivel in response to Dawkins' book.
I was hoping he'd have a GitHub account, or somewhere I could review his code -- seems he's not actually produced anything! Quite strange to see him often described as a "programmer" instead of just a bloke who studied comp sci a few decades ago.

> But there is an even more pessimistic view. Suppose American democracy is not a contest between truth and reason and a quasicriminal political machine, but a contest between two quasicriminal political machines? Suppose progressivism is just like conservatism? If it was, who would tell you?
I’ll tell you who would tell you that. Literally anyone from any country in the world that has a more sane political system than the US of A have.

@1,046,012 (tteh !IAMGAYLOL)
He was involved in creating some WAP software (20 years ago when that was the hot new thing) and he was apparently able to retire from the proceeds. He kept it vague on his blog for obvious reasons.
I doubt Yarvin would get a GitHub because he would probably be banned for his unorthodox views.
If you want to see his work, he's the co-creator of Urbit which is... a replacement for the internet that somehow involves the blockchain and Ethereum. I do not really understand it but it seems pretty sophisticated.
