Just from a random subreddit I stumbled across today. Trump misspells "United Kingdom" as "United Kingston" and every normal person thinks "the guy is a boob who can't even spell." Actually, it was a secret code about child abuse. The explanation for why that is goes on for a mind-boggling number of paragraphs.
And the comments are EVEN NUTTIER than the initial post somehow.

How exactly does someone... reverse chemtrails?

I'd say, potentially, arguably, this thread's predictions, did not actually, as it were, come true.

Obviously cofveve cures the chemtrail mind control potions. It was right there, the whole time.

The big takeaway from this is that America needs to increase its mental health care resources tenfold. These people are clinically delusional and get no help.

100% of QAnon believers are Trump supporters.

Agreed, mental health is a huge issue that needs to be addressed as quickly as possible. But it's a difficult problem with no easy solution so people would rather shift the blame onto anything or anyone else.

Yes they all believe Trump is going to deliver the world from satanic forces that control it. I don't see how that makes even the tiniest bit of sense but then again I'm clearly not literate enough in numerology to understand why they're right. @previous (Dodongo !ZQvsveEcD6)
Yup. I think if we can increase military spending by $55 billion/yr we can also increase mental health treatment by that much.

These people are armed to the teeth and would prefer that you don't try to interfere with their lives.

Yeah, but still you've gotta do something because this level of insanity never remains self-contained.

Yes, but the key point here is that they are armed to fight things like radio waves, reptilians, and chemtrails. A human is.mot going to be taken down by magnets or vinegar sprays.

They are probably already medicated as all fuck. Giving the crazy people the shiny new designer drugs that hopefully will work on some of them maybe is a bad idea.

All these people seem off their meds to me. Not all mental health treatment is about drugs either, though for these people who are this far gone, idk what effect non-pharmaceutical therapies will have for them. What do you think we should do about these wackos?

I think these are people who, in the absence of Qanon, would have just gone down a different rabbit hole. Judging by the stuff about morgellons, alkaline volcano water, and microwave radiation, it seems most of these people have been down several.

I enjoy the idea that they've soaked up several different conspiracy theories throughout their lives, and are now putting forward these hilariously disjointed, mish-mash conspiracy theories. They are like the evolved übermensch of conspiracy theorists.
Microwave morgellons with the alkaline volcano reptilians!

Yeah they don't seem to have started the crazy with Q but he's a really potent combination of politics and religion that seems to absorb their entire online lives. I mostly ignored these people but holy shit I didn't realize they were *this* far gone. It was funnier a at the beginning watching a bunch of losers try to make sense of a deranged dude pretending he had high level security clearance, but now there's a whole mythology and demons and shit about it that moves it from "wow look at these morons" to "holy shit it's a cult". @previous (Killer Lettuce? !HonkUK.BIE)
Yes there do seem to be a lot of disparate things they're cramming together which don't fit neatly.

It's a little scary isn't it? These people were always out there before. They just didn't have an echo chamber for their crazy like they do now. In years past you had to limit your exposure to a few hours of late night talk radio or whatever paranormal conspiracy stuff you could find at your local bookstore or what spooky "documentaries" cable television was willing to run. Now you can absorb all the conspiracy theories you can watch for as long as you can keep your eyes open. YouTube will kindly recommend as many as you can stomach.
I don't know if you have been paying attention to the flat earth movement. Their journey from being a jokey group of internet contrarians to becoming a thinly-veiled evangelical cult of biblical literalists over the last decade is a fascinating little rabbit hole to go down if you're into that kind of thing. (No, really. The Earth is flat. The firmament from the Bible is real and describes a dome onto which the illusion of space is projected. Governments and organized religion have conspired for centuries to keep this truth from the people in order to hide proof of God because they are Satan-worshiping deceivers who want to replace God.) It's kind of amusing to watch each new flat earth figure pop up, enjoy some time in the spotlight, and then get called out as a government shill when people start trying to figure out what truths they still aren't being told.
If I had to guess, QAnon will probably head in a similar direction. I'm sure it will peak and then hit the harsh, cold wall of reality eventually. I'm sure they'll eventually come up with some ad hoc explanation about Q's plans being foiled when their second coming fails to materialize. None of the true believers will be put off by failed predictions about mass arrests or disease outbreaks or war. They will just move on thinking the failed predictions were code that they haven't cracked yet. The truth will always be out there.
