Trois Pistoles by Unibroue is pretty fucking awesome. While visiting Salt Lake City I found a Polygamy Porter by Utah Brewers Cooperative. Despite sounding like a jokey beer for tourists, it's actually an amazing beer.

There's a town called trois pistoles in quebec. A lot of people in quebec share a last name and can trace their families back to this town dating from seigneurial times. At one point i was dating a treeplanter with the same first and last name as my sailor roommate. We called them surf and turf to differentiate.
It's a good beer, too, yeah. Personally i prefer La Fin du Monde from Unibroue tho. The green apple Éphémère is also really nice, a much lighter beer.

Oh i discovered sour and salty beers recently and quite dig them. Saint Pancrace have Crâââ[...]be, a salty beer brewed with crab shells which i quite like.

Here in New Caledonia there is a local beer called Number 1, so going for a number 1 takes on a new meaning.

I've tried both La Fin du Monde and Éphémère! Éphémère was a little too much on the sweet and fruity side for my tastes, but it was still impressive. Unibroue turns out really good stuff.

For sure
There's a lot of really good microbrasseries in quebec :)
