Is there even the remotest chance something might come of the impeachment inquiry? Genuine question.

Impeachment. But his inbred, toothless, hillbilly, cult worshippers in Senate will not remove their god from office.

I've read that even a few Republicans in the house are rattled by this. However, I would not be surprised if this ended with a majority of them ignoring his actions as usual. Guess we'll have to wait and see...

I say given what we know now, there's enough for Dems in the house to vote to impeach. Not currently enough for Senate to remove him from office imo. Could change with more revelations.
For non-US forafriends he would need 67 senators to vote to remove him from office. Currently there are 48 senators who caucus with the Dems. That means they'd need 19 Republicans minimum to cross over and vote to impeach. I could see them maybe getting 5-7 max if everything goes right for Dems. There would need to be some additional info coming out to get the missing 12-14 votes imo.

I wonder what he'd need to do in order to lose significant Republican support. Eat a baby? Burn a flag? Question the historicity of Jesus? Defame Reagan?

I've no idea. I would say cost them an election but he caused them to be buttfucked in the House by the Dems in 2018 and that didn't do anything. I genuinely don't see them moving on from him unless and until he loses in 2020.

Veracity of that patently official document aside, don't you find it strange that Trump brings up his own electoral victory – or somehow manages to allude to it – almost every time he calls a foreign head of state or dignitary?

Rare I look at what WE Pay our Congress people - The Senate currently does almost no work at all
Anyway here are the numbers
The current salary (2019) for rank-and-file members of the House and Senate is $174,000 per year. Senate Leadership
Majority Party Leader - $193,400
Minority Party Leader - $193,400
House Leadership
Speaker of the House - $223,500
Majority Leader - $193,400
Minority Leader - $193,400
Of course that does NOT represent the Cash on hand because each has accounts worth Millions and the details are buried here https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/GPO-CDOC-116sdoc2/pdf/GPO-CDOC-116sdoc2.pdf I B much to busy to dig deep into who gets the most $Millions and there are some minor restrictions on how that $ can be spent on what.
The allowance is provided for the fiscal year. The preliminary list of SOPOEA levels contained in the Senate report accompanying the fiscal year 2017 legislative branch appropriations bill shows a range of $3,043,454 to $4,815,203. The average allowance is $3,306,570.
So a modest $174,000 per year/Salary (Leaders get more) with $3 to almost $5 MILLION for Allowance (Staff misc expenses booze food etc etc shoeshines The PDF file someone else can dig into
Interesting how they get Social Security that ends up LOT'S more than I get - I get $45,240/yr in SS Yet "They get an average annual pension of $74,028." AND that Pension is on top of what they pick up from Social Security which could be like my $45,240 Or less if they cheap out and take it at a more early age, but not that much less. Get this - Only 5 years of service for the $74/K pension and of course Senators are elected for 6 year term so that is a cakewalk $119,268/Yr for LIFE

The call memo is here. The whistleblower has not revealed what he or she knows yet. That should be coming out in the next couple of days I'd assume.

Trump had a chat with the Ukrainian president and asked him to investigate crowdstrike, Biden, etc. That ambassador was shit, let's get better ambassadors and work together, cool. There's nothing to the conversation, it's no wonder it's been released lol!
Biden shouldn't have been talking shit about extorting Ukraine to hide corruption I guess. Now it's going to be investigated. Bidens own words are going to be enough to hang him. Trump is going to come away from this looking good, as usual.

I'm not sure if this image is insulting him or not. The muscular body and cool pose seem supportive, but the unnatural orange skin seems like something a liberal might draw him with.
