Tabasco is very useful but because as with all bottle hot sauces it's loaded with vinegar which in some instance is not desirable.
When it's only going to be a few drops no big deal.
But you are missing this

Dried chili peppers offer up HUGE, MASSIVE flavor, and they deliver in a way that fresh chili peppers don't. The process of drying them changes and intensifies their flavors, deepening them, which all goes into your final dish.


And there are sauces/salsas like one in photo that MUST Be made with Dried Chilies

This is easy to make and there are multiple variations but NO Fresh Salsa (Fresh peppers) will create anything close to this fantastic Salsa.
