Ok.Previously the steak at Chipotle was subpar. It was chewy and had little flavor. Now???? Let me tell you something. Out of all the times I've eaten carne asada steak, this is no doubt one of those times.
It now is properly cooked and doesn't appear to be dog food like the old steak. It also isn't that much more expensive than the chicken. It does taste like carne asada sort of mildly and does look similar to how it's pictured, but the whole appeal of Chipotle is you get a fuckload of rice, beans, peppers, corn, salsa, lettuce, cheese, guac etc. so the protein's taste only matters like once every two or three bites. It doesn't need a lot of flavor because if you wanted something with flavor you wouldn't be eating Chipotle in the first place.

I actually have not eaten taco Bell since I was a teen. Chipotle is higher quality ingredients but also more expensive. It depends on what you're looking for. Per dollar, taco Bell is better. On quality alone Chipotle is better.
