If mosquitoes are your cup of tea, try the swamps of Louisiana. You also get Gators and Snakes and all kinds of mean nasty critters. Will say there are some good eats in that State for sure but for Mosquitoes, Louisiana is the place 2B

**First trip to Ohio was as Consultant and no one wood understand why - yet for first day opening day? Week for sure of Kings Island amusement park, northeast of Cincinnati in Mason, Ohio. Memory not so much so good on timeline, so looked up April 29, 1972, as the Soft Opening and The grand opening was held the following month on May 27, 1972. Whatever day it was, it was the day the Governor of state came for a presentation and go to the Show Grease (I did not meet said Gov) I did Keep him out of an event for over one hour with people yelling like all hell at me. So 2 end this tall tail, I have to hide self in word salad because it was a Rare Fail 4Me as Consultant -

My single Mistrake after solving all problems or so I thought, was to invite a huge crew/cast of a Show Grease out to lunch. Everyone jumped at offer except one technician who was trying to solder a couple of microphone connections on the side of the stage. I talked him into waiting and to join us for lunch on me. Thing is when we all came back for the Opening of that show. He forgot about the open mike connection. He was also probably smoking pot or high on someThing and while we were all out someone came in to borrow an equalizer to help a local TV station doing a promo for the event and on return put in the patch cords in sockets that were connected all wrong. So I helped the technical crew find the open Equalizer and SAID Let the Governor and all in and start the show - This was a BIG Deal because Grease Opened on Broadway New York big city just the year B4 and someone was able to get the rights to Clone this show for the Amusement Park so soon.

Cast was probably mostly recent Grads from Jr Colleges but they sure impressed me. I did see Grease on Broadway, so I did have something to compare but Musicals is in no way my area of expertise.

The BIG Opening Number started with NO Stage Mics working - Audience saying what the fuck throughout the entire opening number.' Open connections was to the distribution Amps for all stage Mics, so NO Mics -

At end of show some high level manager fired the show mixing board operator (Tech) and there was a 2nd show that evening and I said to manager after the Tech walked out the door - Who is going to operate the mixing board and that asshole said YOU WILL - I for sure helped design the guts of that board - Mostly the key low noise Amps as well as the Amps for the Vega Wireless Microphones (as consultant) but run that mixing board? Ask Svet how that wood work - Those who design Lighting Mixboards probably have NEVER Operated one - Knowledge of what it takes to design one in no way relates to making one work as an operator of - Plus even IF I could have and never have - the Cues/timing/which/mike/is/where/on/panel/

Much like those who design the controls of Boeing Planes - None EVER have flown a plane most likely - So I simply told said manager I have no clue how to make this Mixing board work and you better run after the only person who No's how or your fucked and will be fired urSelf. He ran real fast.
