Republican Solution if they had their way will be this Gun. Hand them out for free to every citizen over the age of 18 with a years free supply of 50 Cal bullets. 10,000 rounds per person should be the limit however.

Locally south of me there is a famous but not largely known company (Except they make just about the most famous Drone US uses as licensed from Israel) and they have lots of people in R&D working on various versions of this. It's not designed to kill. Only temporarily blind the opponent. There is some rule against Blinding the Enemy totally so that is not the objective. Easy to do but illegal Planet Wide.
They also have a unique weapon undergoing testing by the Navy - Yea let me dig up a photo of that one. People been working on these all over Planet Earth for YEARS and one gal I Surf with works for the company and is on the project so let me dig up pic and details made pubic - She for sure has never discussed any details with me of what comes up next except to confirm she is on the project as a Scientist PhD - She real cute and Lesbo.

Electromagnetic Rail Gun
This monster cannon is actually the culmination of over a decade's worth of development and testing. An electromagnetic rail gun capable of firing projectiles at over 4,500mph and smashing through concrete structures 100 miles away.
Electromagnetic rail guns are said to be the future of warfare as, like other weapons on this list, they use laser energies rather than traditional explosive materials and controlled explosions. The result is a longer range weapon with much greater accuracy. They do, however, require a great deal of power and scientists are still working on perfecting the output for maximum performance without actually tearing the weapon apart when it fires.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railgun
The earliest electromagnetic gun developed was the coil gun. Its development reportedly started in 1845. The first patent was awarded to Prof. Kristian Birkeland of the University of Kristiania (today Oslo). He accelerated a 500 g projectile to 50 m/s.
In 2010, the United States Navy tested a BAE Systems-designed compact-sized railgun for ship emplacement that accelerated a 3.2 kg (7 pound) projectile to hypersonic velocities of approximately 2.4 kilometres per second (8,600 km/h), or about Mach 7, with 18.4-megajoules of kinetic energy. It was the first time in history that such levels of performance were reached. They gave the project the motto "Velocitas Eradico", Latin for "I, [who am] speed, eradicate"—or in the vernacular, "Speed Kills". An earlier railgun of the same design (32-megajoules) resides at the Dundrennan Weapons Testing Centre in the United Kingdom.
Low power, small scale railguns have also made popular college and amateur projects. Several amateurs actively carry out research on railguns; examples can be found on YouTube.
I keep finding errors and omissions on Wikipedia which is a shame that I should not be doing any editing without permissions - That wood be TMI

Ah so when you see the word Drone you be thinking of those small Model Drones eh.
Let me show you one Drone shot down by US Navy and look at who made it. Skeet rifle? - Also and you need to look this up - Back in the 80's when Russia Invaded Afghanistan and took control of the entire country for one fool Decade. They had a weapon that IF you looked at it you might have said sure just use a Rifle to take it down - Look up the Russian Hind Helicopter - Even look up the most Modern version Russia and Others have of Mil Mi-24 Hind attack helicopter.
So I BET U think just use a real good rifle and hit those titanium rotor blades? For a Fact and I watched this in action for about one Fool decade (on and off over the 10 years Approx early 80's to late 80's) NOT ONE Rifle of any type or kind made anywhere on this Planet could shoot that titanium everywhere protected Mother Fucker Down. Those 50 Caliber bullets just bounced off of ever fucking part of that Helicopter.
No question of someone wants to make a Drone Skeet proof 50 Cal Proof that's totally simple. But YES people like Israel have systems in working order to take down what the Saudi's failed to deploy (Israel wood have sold the system joint dev by USA/Israel if just asked)
Only when a team of Rangers and Navy Seals got permission to import in Stinger Missiles, did those Hinds go down down and Russia after watching a bunch quickly crash-- They Boogied out of Afghanistan, almost faster than the speed of lite. One decade and one buggered Republican Prez slow on the draw was all it took to let one Helicopter model fuck up US Operations something Horrid - and don't get me started on how once upon a tyme US relations with Mujahideen/Taliban was almost IDEAL - In fact from my perspective Taliban were life saving to so many US Citizens helping out Afghanistan.
Photo is hot off press today - Drones of course that hit the Saudi's could be more updated in design and IF you look at Predator etc of USA - Drones ain't just toys that Skeet rifles take down https://nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/irans-drones-big-threat-us-military-war-80796 Iran's Drones: A Big Threat to the U.S. Military In a War?
On July 18, an Iranian drone approached the U.S. Navy ship USS Boxer in international waters while it was on its way to the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf. The drone ignored multiple calls to stand down and came close to around 1,000 yards from the American ship, prompting the Marines on board to shoot it down. A statement by chief Pentagon spokesman, Jonathan Hoffman, said the drone approached the ship and “closed within a threatening range” and that “[we] took defensive action against the [drone] to ensure the safety of the ship and its crew.”
Iran denied that one of its drones had been shot down. Commenting on the incident, spokesman of the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi said all of Iran’s drones in the area had returned safely to their bases after completing scheduled surveillance and control operations, including the mentioned one. To support its claim, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) released a video shot from a drone tracking the USS Boxer. The IRGC boosted that the drone recorded three hours of video of the USS Boxer and five other vessels from when they had entered the Strait of Hormuz. Though the video offers no evidence that the drone had not been shot down, the recording gives us an idea on the increasing role of drones in Iran’s asymmetric operations.
This is not the first time an Iranian drone came close to a U.S. ship in the Gulf. In January 2016, an Iranian drone reportedly flew over a U.S. aircraft carrier transiting through the Gulf of Oman on its way to the Persian Gulf and also photographed a French naval vessel. Although the drone didn’t pose any serious threat to the ships, it delivered its intended
message, Iran is now able to monitor all the ships in the Gulf and inflict damage if it wants.
Since then, there have been several serious incidents in the region involving Iranian drones, at least one of them could have triggered a regional war last year when Iran flew a weaponized copy of the U.S. RQ-170 Sentinel UAV from Syria into Israel. The Israeli Air Force shot down the drone and carried out airstrikes against a number of Iranian targets in Syria before a Syrian anti-aircraft battery downed an Israeli F-16. This, in turn, triggered a wider Israeli retaliation against Syrian air defense systems and Iran’s entire attack drone weapons system in the country.

Have a Dance Partner - Let's call her Mary. She lived walking distance from this event on the Island. Ex husband was in the Navy. She invited all of her friends to attend this event. She cooked one huge breakfast for all and all was about 24-30 people at her modest home on the Island. Mary is one of the nicest gals I no but must say on the scale of nice, so many dance partners qualify.
Anyway the total base was totally OPEN to all after you went through a major security check no matter what credentials you carried. All they wanted was total proof as US Citizen. Cameras were allowed. On the base were many and I mean MANY UMV'S aka Drones. Maybe 14 in some stage of development and you could go up to them - LookC into what ever ports could be opened by hand. Guards were even helpful in how to open some tiny door to peek in.
Most of my life I have worked around and in some high level super secrete this and that but NEVER EVER at any one time could I have ever had hands on so many super secrete items all at one time and keep in mind this was for the 10,000 that were on that base and only as US Citizens. Could board dozens of Ships - Multiple Aircraft Carriers.
Once and only once in my lifetime was I a guest on a US Aircraft carrier in transport from Point A to Point B. My access as Non Military was limited. So much I wanted to look at and touch so much was told NO You cannot - Yet that day I asked if I could and they said of course what do you want to look at. Me the 3D massive Radar system that was even made by a company I used to work for cept I never worked on the Shipboard version in anyway shape or form - Only Airborne/Space/Born
But thanks to Mary's warm invite and one of her friends who insisted I take one of the Aircraft Carrier tours and I was so FUCKING Reluctant.
Gifts in life can be so many when one has friends.
Thank you for letting me share because Kaboo was was and now they are moving the event to downtown next year and downtown Music Festival was one of my all time most Fav places 2B back when I lived in Santa Monica/Marina del Rey years ago - Street Scene will again rise like Phoenix as Kaboo 2020
AND Albeit I wanted to be out on a trip b4 Eardrum encountered Q Tip - One more Music Festival Next Week End and this one is WIDE OPEN and Free to Pubic with 100 bands and multiple stages and people are in Smiles so many Smiles
All but one business email complete so I can NOW go to Sleep - Multitasking is is IS

Do you mean this critter - SR-71
I cry tears of sadness over it's dismiss. I have some quality Guts for Synthetic Aperture Imaging Radar, inside the latter versions of that wonderful fantastic aircraft Lockheed Skunk Works built long before u were born. There is even a Drone based on the SR-71 Cept I had Nada to do with that device. Don't even remember if it was mission accomplished but Drones back in early 60's so often crashed and I even picked up a few pieces up in desert near Cathy's location.
Most of what I did was for later Satellite use and ultimately those Satellites accomplished what SR-71 could do but NOT always - Some things more better but sum things were better done and ARE Better done and lower altitudes. It's all about the Benjamins.
So out of here and C U R in theory2
As a parting note for anyone that cums along and skims this text
Synthetic Aperture Imaging Radar - It takes rather amazing super high quality Photos of Objects just like a regular camera/lens EXCEPT it works through Rain Fog even Can and does C through Camouflage and can in theory take a pic inside someone's house all the way UP in Space. And it can penetrate the Ground from Space - Alas SR-71 Will ALWAYS Do more better with that - WE as a Team even found Gold and People/Kings/Cats/ buried in and with Gold in Egypt and had to keep it a secret for 7 or so years.
One does wonder how come we can do that but do not do that to find Tunnels crossing the Border.
Oh Oh 4Got to add - Synthetic Aperture Imaging Radar USES a Form of CDMA and I do mean Irwin Jacobs CDMA
I can with 3 days in most labs at Qualcomm turn any Iphone or Android Phone in2 a Camera. Wot you say it has a camera built in2 it already - BUTTT I can break the lense and take out the guts of phone that take pics with lens
And still take Pics with just the CDMA and Other current 4G - 5G Technology including C through a Wall.

Excuse me buttttt I spent a WONDERFUL 5 years at Hughes Malibu Research Labs and it was a Dream Job cum true 4Sure
Serious quality R&D - I had a small but vital part in a Moon Lander Surveyor. A last minute contest company wide to solve a problem just prior to launch and my Ham Radio experience was far more useful to solve a bug with a new circuit that had to work without tapping into the power of the lander. Most of my time was on taking photos with Radar Waves. Waves erie similar to Qualcomm CDMA. AND of course I was part of a very large research team - about 1000 people. Now there are Zillions of stuff I had no part in - Like the USS Enterprise 3D Radar (Phased Array so the Antenna remains Stationary) In Synthetic Aperture as in the SR-71 the antenna had to be very small but Appear VERY Large and Very Long.
I did not invent SAR - I do have several patents still held Stealth and hope one day one or 4 will becum pubic - AND If you were to look up Pubic Patent I hold you will Find SUCH. I still get royalties and those companies that pay really do NOT have2 - From Servo's in Robots to Oscilloscopes and Spectrum Analyzers and one IC that licenses the patent for a wide band IC. Lots of stuff I have had Zero part in and with Satellites for Communications and NOW Beyond 5G
Anyway I did have One Horrid experience of 6 months as Consultant to lead a team designing a Robot. Everyone was impressed with the design and it almost drove me to Sewercide over my inability to perform to my standards - I make a very poor Mechanic and Robots are far more Mechanical then Electronics/Electrical
I should have NEVER Let the Romance of Robots, pull me in and make myself an Expert, when I had not even made much of a hobby model way back when. I convinced them I was an Expert with Resume and Proposal - So much for the Romance.
Robots are full of Vacuum systems and Hydraulics and Air Pressure systems but the Super High speed cameras (ultra high frame rate) was right up my alley and of course the Servo systems I have a Patent on -
I also O Proof of something to becky and danks for reminding me

Really, The Romance of Robots was George R. R. Martin's best book in a lot of ways. People criticize him for moving away from the fantasy genre and into bot romance novels, but I think he really pulled it off. There's no shame in getting interested in it.
