Sup yo. Also, I agree, but really either one is acceptable. I find myself using the British spelling of words ('S' instead of 'Z') all the time only to have it confuse people more than it should.

Just wish my English profs. wouldn't return papers saying the words are misspelled. That's when I begin to lose faith in education.

Usually it goes unnoticed but I have been docked for it a few times. I really couldn't say when I started using that spelling. I just subconciously prefer it. Microsoft Word always tries to correct me on it as well.

This is a sentence with the regular "S":
