Muammar Gaddafi is no angel by any means, but one thing he has done in Libya is keep the Muslim extremists the fuck out of Libya, if they are there they have no power and used to hide from Muammar's regime. The rebels on the other hand are backed by a group called "The Muslim Brotherhood" and surprise, surprise, they are linked to Muslim extremists. The Muslim Brotherhood is posed to take control of Libya as soon as the rebels out Muammar Gaddafi. This will go down in history as just another major fuck up by our government, and hey, I'm just a guy telling you this, if I know; how the hell can our not government know?

The brotherhood is the only 'legit' organization involved, besides them its just chaos basically, and yes, they are very much poised to take control. Our government has actually touted them as a (hold onto your seats) 'peaceful and secular organization", yes that's right they said secular. I don't know if our government is actually that retarded, or this is just the beginning of another reason to be at war in another country. I very much suspect its the latter, I'm no conspiracy theorist, but it seems fairly obvious to me. The Muslim Brotherhood control no countries or governments, I don't think. They did once gain 24% of the parliamentary seats in Egypt, but Hosni Mubarakâ„¢ soon put a stop to that.

Governments and the media like to paint a very rosy picture of the situation but many experts aren't so optimistic (with good reason). Fact is, something like 80% of Egyptians don't even think Israel has a right to exist, so even if its not the brotherhood specifically, it will be the same rose by another name. Fuckin' middle-east man, you know how it is.
I do hope international governments can finally make a difference in the middle-east, now is a good opportunity.
