You can destroy earth in any manner you please, how would you do it?

Probably large nuclear blasts. Ideally, I'd set up a system so they would explode when my heart stops beating. That would encourage society to find a way to allow me a very long lifespan. I don't care about seeing the suffering, just knowing no life would likely exist after me is enough.

I would give everyone on earth a glass of cyanide flavored kool-aid, and at the same time we would all gulp it down. Then, after we wipe our mouths we will all look at Psychopath and laugh as the foam starts coming out of his mouth and he falls to the floor -alone, and starts convulsing.

If I was going for more of an action thriller type of apocalypse I'd make the Earth curl in upon itself, sending great masses of rock heaving through the heavens while all the people below scurry like ants below. They will look for answers...but none will be found :(

No, it wouldn't, but it would get too hot before it got even close to us. It would be terrifying because it would get so massive so quickly and it wouldn't be even close to us. It's massive. The sun is so large I don't think we can really comprehend it.

If it were to happen naturally, of course it wouldn't be instant. But seeing as we supposedly have the power to make the sun burn out, and move giant celestial bodies, I'm guessing we could also make it happen instantly? If we couldn't, I would instead destroy the earth via a large asteroid impact. One that people would not notice, so nobody would panic.

The LHC? I think it's built to only make tiny ones that last for a fraction of a second. But I would go for a black hole too, as long as I could survive to see what was on the other side. :P

I would direct the human to set a course for self destruction.

With the dawn of the industrial age, the need for fossil fuels greatly increases until so much fossil fuels are burned that the UV rays now have a chance to alter the very climate of earth. Sea levels rise, weather becomes a lot more unpredictable and destructive. Natural disasters increase and the very climate of Earth fluctuates between severe extremes.
This creates a chain reaction of ultimate destruction which leads us to the next ice age.
