Today I went to Halfords (For non UK users, it's a store that sells bikes and car parts) and purchased a bike!
Why do you ask? I want to distract myself from my problems, get out of my comfort zone and do something different. So... I'm becoming a deliveroo rider at the weekends!!!
Not only will it be character building but I'll be gaining a new appreciation for those whom work in the gig economy, I get to work on my terms as I won't be doing it to make a living and I'll be MAKING money rather than spending it.

You should sprinkle cocaine into your Deliveroo deliveries for a laugh. Imagine a family ordering a pizza, eating the cocaine on it, and all of them getting coked up without knowing why. Hahaha!

I wouldn't call their service unfriendly but they did make it hard to buy a bike. I would understand if they went bankrupt.

I took my bike to there for a checkup and the guy was clearly unhappy and told me to leave it for a few days, I said that the sign outside promised an on the spot checkup to which he told me that he didn't agree with it!

I didn't buy the bike from them, I did purchase a new saddle for £50. I had to ask the guy to install it and he rolled his eyes and told me he was busy.
