Of course I must say - Any phone that uses the Q Snapdragon technology. Other Q chips as well. Fortunately Apple and Samsung DO and others as well.
Iphones 6 months to 3 years ago started to not use Q so much and even Samsung tried to use their own version more and discovered they needed to just go back to total Q and sure one day someone else may come up with a way to and anyway - More than one way to skin a Cat - Intel tried and tried and even bought a company for Billions to compete with Q and recently closed all of that down and on the Same Day Apple announced only Q Chips Intel shut down it's Mobile Cell Phone Chip Biz. Sources say Apple may acquire Intels fuck up - Having only one source of a Supplier of Chips is probably and that is all I shall say and I had my moniker for this reply BUT have decided my wallet might stop filling IF I posted with -

Market driven there is little incentive to make them rugged. Every Time you break yours the company gets to see you one more.

That said there are RUGGED Very Rugged cell phones. You may even be able to buy? Look into Cell Phones for the military. Repacked commercial phones in cases to make them Rugged and more - added features that you cannot buy. Multiple companies make repackaged Laptops etc for Military field use. A little pricey.

Why not do what I suggested to Catherine so often. If you Google Rugged Cell Phones you will discover a Plethora. You're going to discover a older version of a Galaxy 9. That is one downside to buying anything military - They are always technically behind the curve. Exceptions to the rule. Israel cell phones for select military have features ahead of the curve and mostly for field intelligence use. Of course Q has a R&D center with a factory. Other companies there do Special ahead of curve Laptops - Same for those special agencies large countries have. France has some really sweet gizmos for intelligence use.

I once borrowed one hell of a gizmo of theirs with their permission because it was totally broke and they figured I could do no harm - Time is out and no one will believe what that was anyway.

Anyway judging from your ramblings you don't know of a robust phone that has decent specs or even just android 9

Sooooo much in rush - No I mean the phone Amazon is selling is a Galaxy 9. When next version of the current Galaxy is updated and it sure looks sweet as can be, the rugged version will come out as a Galaxy 10. Has to be behind the curve - Not really but usually Military is ALWAYS less than technology you can purchase and they have some stated good reasons for that.

Ask me some other time y

Literally all they would need to do is put some fucking bumpers on their glass slabs and it wouldn't break anymore

Ananthanarayanan M R triple-posted this 6 years ago, 2 minutes later, 7 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,034,847

They could also make the glass user replaceable like it used to be

Remember the weird PC phone where you were supposed to be able to buy components for it and be able to “build” it yourself???
