"Talk to a cat in a high pitched voice and it responds. If it notices that you are then getting up, it will just follow you because there's a chance you are giving it food even if most of the time you don't actually do that. I used to trick my cat as a kid by making him follow me, then going to the bathroom for a dump. I was a cruel little shit."
