If you remember from my thread last week when I came home to find my girlfriend moving out, I said that some lady had crashed into me causing a little damage. The only damage to my car was a scuff on the wheel, she had a dent on the wing. Insurence companies can be an absolute pain to deal with if both sides are claiming no fault. They would rather put it down as both parties having part fault and then both having to pay excess to get repairs and the premiums going up.

It is in the UK and you have to drive in London during heavy traffic and the other person claims no fault and there is no CCTV to back you up. A lot of people are keen to just sort it out without dealing with their insurence company as they don;t always work in your interests dispite what they say.

I'm familiar with how car insurance works but that doesn't mean that a win occured because that implies a profit of some kind for you whilst all you got was damage to your car and the money to repair it
