Also she's probably the most boring politician anywhere in history, politics aside. Can you imagine the conversation?

The Democrats will never get over the Republicans freeing the slaves..
They got so mad they spent decades after that coddling the blacks and trying to use them against the Repubs since then..
Channel flipping last night and saw Brian William's talking for a bit about how the inside message of the Dems is now shifting focus from issues concerning the American people to beating Trump at any cost.
No shit...lol...the whole Dem candidate field has failed to look even the least bit capable with their bizarre socialism propaganda and huge misstep of calling for open borders that the Dem spinmasters and strategists say their only hope is to turn the anti Trump rhetoric up to full blast and 120% instead of wasting time trying to push their policies...lol..
Buh buh buh...buh buh..
I'm lovin' it!

Bert is the kind of person who reads about Michael Jordan's bulls in the 90s and thinks that the present day Chicago bulls are the best team of all time, and that anyone who says they suck are just haters because the name of the team is the same.

Desegregation, racist backlash and the proliferation of the automobile worsened global warming by making white people go from living in the segregated city and taking the bus to work, to moving to the suburbs and commuting by car. Perhaps, in the environmental perspective of keeping climate change in check, segregation is not all bad.

Not really. It is just my observation that institutional racism and the reaction against the remedies for it is a contribution to our current climate crisis. Why else would most people live 45 minutes away from work and commute by car if not so their kids could go to good, bourgeois white/Asian schools?

I'm pretty sure suburban America built the schools because of the suburbs and not the other way around. The growth of the automobile industry really did change how people lived and worked all over the world, but the development of outlying area as populations grow in urban centers isn't really a new phenomenon. Suburban sprawl occurs with or without an accompanying civil rights movement. A few civil rights issues being connected to buses isn't really the chain of cause and effect you seem to make of it.
> just my observation that institutional racism and the reaction against the remedies for it is a contribution to our current climate crisis.
Seriously, that's pretty retarded. You're just hitching a convenient semi-attached figure to a past phenomenon and trying to make a causal link. You may as well blame rock n' rock music and malt shops while you're at it.

Is this why people commute to Detroit from a Lily white suburb 40 minutes away?
