Two members of The Squad (Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib) have been banned from Israel because they support BDS. I find this interesting on several levels. You can't really boycott Israel if you're spending money to go there so it makes sense for Israel to ban BDS supporters, in a way it actually helps them boycott Israel more. The other interesting thing is that Trump is cheering this even though it means Rashida Tlaib can no longer go back where she "came from"* (bit of an own goal, imo ?).
*Not that Israel ever accepts Muslim immigrants anyway, but now she can't even visit
(My own opinion on the banning is I don't care who the Israelis ban from their country. It's their deal.)
