Once I was invited to a dancers B-Day event and that was at the Olive Garden. I only remember that the Salad Greens were real - The Pastas and there were lots of people with everyone ordering something different and sharing entrees around the table. Every pasta as MUSHY - Apparently it's all pre cooked and reheated at the last instant to warm it up. Sauces were like out from some can. We could see Sysco trucks rolling in boxes of stuff.
I figure the chain is like a Factory that spits out something with Italian sounding name - But sure the Salad was a Salad and the MushPasta was just that. Don't remember any bread item as memorable -
I had the same BAD experience at that Lobster Chain - The Food all tasted Frozen with that Ice burn food gets Frozen if held to long.
Oh and when I was on a business trip in Greenville Tx at the one good hotel in town and asked for recommend on Mexican place - The waitress said the best item were Tamales - So I ordered them - They were UN UN UN EDIBLE - I said these taste like they came from Can and she said of course because Can food is the best way to preserve food.
In most places I traveled around Planet Earth on Biz I got good recommends and was mostly happy. One Thai place in Australia served Frozen Mussels which were like Rubber but the rest of the frozen sea food was not so much so good but at least the sauce was ok
AND in Orange NSW Australia I found a Cajun Restaurant - Was NOT open that day so I checked into a motel cause no hotel in town - All just to get real Cajun Food in Au - Alas I ordered about everything on menu looking for something Edible - None was - They told me when they went into biz they hired a real Cajun who was with them for one week but he complained about not being able to get ingredients. So they attempted to make his recipes with all the wrong stuff -
Lessons learned - Never had a Bad Taco in this town with one exception and that was cause I was really hungry n in hurry and tried a Jack n Box Taco - 110% Grease and more Grease with added sides of Grease - Threw it OUT un eaten

Whatever, loser. More breadsticks for me. I'm on an all-carb diet.
