Massive power outage hits large parts of U.K during rush hour: reports
A power outage put a large swath of the U.K. in the dark during hectic rush hour period on Friday, according to recent reports and a tweet from the UK Power Network: "We're aware of a power cut affecting a large area of London and South East," network officials tweeted. They said the outage was pegged to generator failures at U.K.-based National Grid NG, +0.37%. Bloomberg News reported that outage has led " disruption on multiple rail lines out of the capital, including the Gatwick Express." Some reports indicate that power was slowly being restored in many areas. The U.K.'s Express on its website reported that British Transport Police sent officers to train stations to provide assistance to stranded travelers

Okay, I lied. I investigated a little bit. On seems to be around, and in that topic ducky claims she's a mod now.
I didn't see any sign of FuckAlms who was, last I heard, the only other mod there apart from an unidentified mod. But that was 3 years ago. So there's apparently only two, maybe three mods there right now.
I always feel a morbid fascination looking through dead or near-death forums. Not to say that TC is dead, but I think most of their notable users are gone now, anyway. Certainly a far cry from the T4C days.

most of them were doa at best, but they're all listed on the otakutalk navigator regardless. bitsytalk had the best chance of survival, i think, since it was attached to like, a pokemon card generator thing and was always kinda distant from the center. like someone just picked up the script without knowing about AnT, but boards like this are cursed to die instantly (at least 2 of these were boards i tried to run in high school lmao. pour one out for iframetalk) or live on forever in limbo. Only Two Active Mods now on tinychan. On and NameFag now posting as NameBro they also have a Syops who does not post in the open on TC but is very active on the other Channel and if asked politely may perform any Mod activity required and he is well known to all the regular long term users of MC.
FuckAlms and info on why he dropped OUT is sparse. Near as I can tell - Just prior to his pulling out of the Web as a whole - His bedroom was robbed and as a result he lost 100% of his music archive which he has built since b4 the invention of the Gramophone. He took great pride in that collection. Shorty after that he graduated school And Then And then he pulled the plug on the Net.
Ducky was making a Joke - Oh and there are Three other somewhat active TC channels other than the one Sysops is on daily and that channel is loaded with users and so far as I can see 95% of them do not use TC itself.
I am leaving off a reply to another in this thread and will do via of course Another channel
