@OP
Indeed. Mass shootings are bad and all, but god forbid the government regulate something. That's the real danger here.

251 Days total of Mass shootings so far this year with 149 Days left till end of 2019
So bottom line is forecast is more than One Mass shooting per day overall.
This is the New Normal brought to us by NRA and Republican Party.
This has some kind of side benefit business wise for those who grow and sell flowers and dig graves and Morticians who are paid a decent wage to provide a somewhat grizzly service.

idk man, how many of you chaps need to die – in hospitals, schools, churches, cinemas – before you realise something's wrong? It's just sad.
If only these mass shooters could target the pro-gun moræ.

Idk we've had school shootings be a big deal pretty much as far back as a can remember so at least 25 years. Every time people freak out about guns some laws change around, and more schools get shot up. I'm pretty sure most people realize something is wrong and the ones paying attention realize that nothing has been fixed with "gun control"
What's the biggest difference between usa and other countries that would explain our disproportionate amount of violent gun crime?

There is a new book out on the worst killer of all - Has so far killed 50% of the Humanity that has existed since Humans begat
The Mosquito. Anyway USA is what it is. Not every idea works and when a group of men in a court can decide Humans in USA are a Militia, the Die is cast.
Nothing going to stop the Mass shootings NOW - It will just continue like the Pesky
There is of course a radical idea on how to fix the Mosquito problem world wide so maybe Mosquito's and Mass Killings will be not so much a problem Some Day

I'm pretty sure belief in God or lack thereof has killed the most people ever

How dare you! It is, in fact, belief in Tucker Carlson, Fox News, and Trump that has killed the most people ever.

There is no utopia where there's no government regulation and everything is great. In many cases, citizens benefit from government intervention, and there's a strong argument that guns are such a case. Clearly, shootings are a problem, and responding to them in any meaningful way will need government action of some kind.
> Only to push a narrative.
You know, some anti-gun people probably call the NRA's spiel a "narrative" too.

What are the gun laws like in Chad?
Im not pro gun, I'm just against governmental micromanagement of the lives of its citizens. Stricter and stricter laws have been being passed in the USA during my life time, and gun violence has gotten worse and worse. There must be more to be done than regulation and fear mongering, in my opinion.

And isn't "gun control" usually about the sales and possession part of guns? I feel like if there were more rules on the manufacturer side there would be less guns available
