There are broken young men in every single country on earth. In only one "first world" country do they kill 10+ people on a given day by shooting up a public place. Also every single liberal I know is begging for more emphasis on de-radicalizing white supremacists and white nationalists, but seeing as their ideologies are like 80% the same as this administration, there is zero chance of that happening. If you watch Tucker Carlson and listen to Donald Trump you get 80% of the way to where this guy went.

As for authenticity, here's how the Washington Post describes the manifesto:
This one (and the one I posted that a certain Admin removed earlier) are 2,340 words, and divided into the same five sections, in the same order, and have the same content described in the Washington Post article.
Unless someone can find a better source, I would have to believe this is the real manifesto. Sadly I cannot find any "mainstream" media either linking to the manifesto or publishing the full version.
As for authenticity, here's how the Washington Post describes the manifesto:

I haven't thought about this before but I spent a while thinking about it and what I think it is basically is long term thinking. I mean what good is a Thousand Year Reich if climate change and pollution render it uninhabitable halfway through? The 14 Words are meaningless if the white race you preserve has no environment worth living in.
This kind of long term thinking seems paradoxical coming from someone who did something that can only end in death, or imprisonment followed by a death sentence. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. I guess it's also possible he's a racist who just happens to care about the environment in the same way that Hitler was a racist who just happened to care about animal welfare and the dangers of cigarette smoking. The Nazis were way ahead of their time on the smoking front. I don't think there's any link between vegetarianism and national socialism. Probably none for environmentalism and racially motivated mass shootings either. We've got a sample size of like 2 so I'd want to see a lot more explicitly pro-environmentalist racist mass shooters before I'd buy a link between them.
I don't think environmentalism is polarized to any one ideology. Probably the more violent elements of Antifa aren't so big on paper towels either.

I find it amusing that someone many years older than me (hopefully) has incorrectly used jargon from cultures I know well enough to understand when someone is incorrectly using the language. The suggestion put forth is that Tucker Carlson has a following within that culture when in fact he does not, which is a subversion of expectations that I found quite humorous.

Slightly louder doesn't quite describe someone with a major media outlet and boatloads of corporate and political cash behind them.

The sole cause? No, probably not. There's certainly room for personal freedom and choice in life. But when people make rational decisions to get themselves killed in order to shoot a bunch of "invaders" to "remove the threat of the Hispanic voting bloc" it probably has something to do with the people describing that "threat" using similar language on the media being sent into their home.
I feel like that should at least make you scratch your head and wonder about the similarities.
