I just had a nice cup of coffee at PJ’s cafe.

A few draw backs:

1. The staff is a bit snarky, whether it's what table you're allowed to sit at, or how you pay (I completely understand credit cards don't help small business.. but maybe tell customers nicely?). The owners are less friendly than the younger people they hire..
2. If you're going to go to be snarky... what you serve should make up for the questionable customer service.. the coffee isn't any better than the other places near by.

Both times I have been here, it has felt like a tomb.

It is definitely a commercialized place- almost like a plastic wrapped Addams family mansion.
Here's the bad side: The coffee sucks. I recently had a cappuccino here. Well, I ordered it, they sold me something, and I took a few sips of some boiling hot espresso flavored water. DON'T get a cappuccino!!! I'm confident in saying that the lattes or things of that nature are also quite bad.

Why I hate this place:
- i subconsciously never order coffee here. i recall if it was't good. i really enjoy a truly good cup of coffee or espresso, but i always order tea here after my bad coffee experience
-its not open that late. i come here to escape home and do my research papers.
- the staff is effing weird. like.. DUH weird. there is one sweet helpful older gentleman that is here, but the other staff is just DUH. takes forever to get their attention, to get your order.. and sometimes you just stand at the counter and theyre just.. DUH. i wish someone would tell me that they were stoned so i can be a little forgiving in the inattentiveness. i just waited over 20 minutes for my tea. DUHH..

Awful! If your looking for a nice coffee shop with good coffee go elsewhere. They have signs on the tables dictating how many people can sit at which table. Very unfriendly and just an overall stale atmosphere. Not inviting, not pleasant, overly commercialized and they don't even give you more hot water!

PJ's: Starbucks is world wide and they do it ten times better... Get a clue!

In theory, this place is a great idea. But in actuality, it's a mess. They are always short-staffed and customers often find themselves waiting for 10-15 minutes for a simple coffee or drink. Most of the staff is poorly trained, which results in the food & drink quality varying greatly depending on who happens to prepare your order.
There are so many rules and restrictions about seating. It's better to just avoid this place. OQ (basically across the street) has way better coffee. Dish cafe (basically next door) has way better food. And if you really need a place to sit and do work, you are better off at any Starbuck's.

Let me start by saying I have given this place many chances and they have finally struck out. I have gone to this place several times in the morning before work. You enter the place and there is never anyone at the counter! I hate ringing the bell but if I didn't they don't even attempt to come out and see if someone is there during a workday week! I was in the other day and they had only one girl on who was struggling to keep up with making smoothies, coffee and food prep. This is another time where I stood around for 20 minutes to receive sub par coffee and food at ridiculous prices! The whole staff hear seems bored and uncaring about there jobs and it definitely shows. The place seems a bit rundown and unkempt as well. There are many other places to go to get coffee and a bagel in the morning. This place is done in my eyes!

Syntax: more of an expert via Google, than people who personally experience things.

CopyPasta of reviews are accurate.
I think this is similar to someone suggesting a move to Beijing. Someone may use Google to see what may result for making such a move. Tuberculous and need to wear a gas mask because of the horrid Smog as well as excrement in streets, ends up in reviews.

The more ya no.

Fail

How is that a strawman argument? Checking the UID is about the only way to verify. Even checking the IP address isn't enough because multiple UIDs can use the same IP.
