Never watched that show so of course I do what I do and used Wiki and read this
Regarding the series's religious content, Linehan says "Ted doesn't have an anti-religious view of life, but a non-religious view. It's a job to him. He doesn't care about religion." While writing, he says the show's creators imagined Ted and Dougal as "just two people who happen to be [priests]".
So I take it that these priests are not of the pedophile variety but will do a Nun or two or even parishioners if they are willing.

I haven't I'm afraid. In the country where I grew up UK comedy shows weren't very popular. I've just watched a few clips and it seems quite amusing. Certainly not blasphemous, at least from what I saw.
