If you live in US you could vote for Bernie. He is a commie in modern, form now labeled socialism. If he wins, then you get some stuff at lower cost. Later if you have children and they grow up, they will be forced to pay for your discount.

Using the powers of Google because there was no way I could in so few words explain the differences.
Communism vs. Socialism
The main difference is that under communism, most property and economic resources are owned and controlled by the state (rather than individual citizens); by contrast, under socialism, all citizens share equally in all economic resources as allocated by a democratically-elected government.
That means in my case - The People will rip apart my wallet and bank account and re-distribute my money to YOU and others with of course Government Overhead which runs about 70% under socialist operations.
So I will not vote for Bernie - One exception of course is I will be forced to if it's Bernie vs Trump.

Joe has never raped a woman or on live tv camera bragged about being able to grab boobs and pussy. Joe has not been accused of hiring prostitutes to piss all over him.
Joe has not paid off women in cash settlements he had sex with.
So Yes Joe is my current choice. That said I will support any current person who is running against Trump. Trump has been very very good for my wallet. Not very good for my moral well being.

Where I live sure everyday people are fishing and even catching the evening dinner. Some proficient enough to even offer me a portion of fresh Halibut. Me? Not so much good at fishing. Up the hill from me chickens run around free - Alas one cannot expect them to last very long if my neighbors are going after them and they are old chickens that will require hours to cook to make edible.
Also in just 5 minutes of drive there is much land growing all kinds of tomatoes and peppers and strawberries YET well not maybe enough to keep my village in fruit and veggies but not all that much in variety.

California is a shithole compared to what it was thirty years ago. It owes a fortune, real estate is over valued 1000 percent and that ain't because it's nice or on the cosst its because it's such a clusterfuck that they are desperate so they needed to Jack it up for the property taxes.
More illegal immigrants than anywhere and Los Angeles has more destitute bums than productive citizens just like sanfrancisco does and all of its streets are covered in human shit.
California is failing horribly.

Here in Calif you get what you pay for. Walter lives in detroit and there you can move into a house almost at no cost. These come two for the price of one.

In for only a few seconds and now off to 24 hour fitness - You say and others say bay area is fucked and IF I had more tyme I wood get some more up2date info to prove you rong but take these numbers and ask why people flock to the bay area as tourists
How many tourists visit San Francisco annually?
Of the 25.1 million people who visited the city last year, 10.4 million were overnight visitors and 14.7 million visited for the day, with both figures increasing by 2.3 percent. Overnight visitors spent $7.77 billion (86.8 percent of all visitor spending), up 3.4 percent over the previous year.Jan 18, 2017
Seems to me that $7.77 Billion bucks is well it's very nice and the taxes they paid and all the business owners sure made a nice profit on all of that
Anyway I waz born in this State and have worked and lived all over the world - Found places even in Siberia that were ok for a while - Australia some really nice places and terrific beaches - South of France just terrific - Could say lots of nice things about so many places and in theory I even own a chunk of an Island - Fucking French laws of inheritance have messed that up but still I could sell it and make a nice profit - Just going to leave that in my will
Anyway - I truly truly Love So Cal and Miss Big Basin Redwoods and Sierras and will visit again when I can
> Oh yeah the bay area blows probably but it's not unsalvageable or anything.

I think the point that is made is: People don't spend time and money on vacation in places not worth spending time in.
For instance when I worked n lived in Siberia, it was a city of one million people and NO ONE goes there as a tourist. Other than people like me on business and the few I met who were there to adopt Russian children, that was it. As someone who has visited San Francisco many many many times and Mirin county you no like Point Reys and Mill Valley - Just quality places to B
Sure in San Fran there is a seedy tenderloin district and one just avoids such places.

i'm not saying it isn't a great place. i love the bay area. i love what san francisco used to be and still can be. its a great place to visit etc., but the cost of living and amount of displacement is outrageous. the homeless issue has gotten to the point where my hometown has loads of people just living on the street out of their RVs. nobody i know can afford a place without 3 or 4 roommates and it's only getting worse. it's sick

Does cum down to supply and demand - For instance this house is currently on the market just up the hill from me. Has NO ocean view or any view for that matter.
Just a few dollars under $3 Million and of course, in say somewhere away from coast of Oregon this house is worth maybe $95,000 in todays market yet back when it was built it probably sold for $25,000
