Everyone forgets them because they have no importance.

Eh, I think they're a net positive to our country.
The financial arguments for and against always break down into the core question of whether the UK would be as attractive to tourists without the monarchy. I don't think it would be. An actual living, established monarchy is interesting and quaint. Go to France if you want to see unoccupied castles in a state of disrepair tbh.

Comrade Corbyn should fuck off to Venezuela if he wants to live in a communist dystopia.

When have I ever said I liked Corbyn?

Meh, that rogue party Corbyn runs is not Labour - they don't represent the working classes. They are just as bad as the new Tories. Both parties are dead and, as Peter Hitchins so eloquently put it, are like a pair of corpses, stiff with rigor mortis, propping each other up. @1,022,474 (Fake anon !ZkUt8arUCU)
Because it's the current year.

I have mixed feelings about this poll. I will remain neutral until UK gets a Disneyland. Until then the monarchy works as a tourist attraction.

You are left wing. Therefore, you are a Corbyn fanatic. Thanks.

40 million
The United Kingdom is the world's 6th biggest tourist destination, with over 40 million visiting in 2018. US$31.93 billion was spent in the UK by foreign tourists in 2017. VisitBritain data shows that the USA remains the most valuable inbound market, with American visitors spending £2.1 billion in 2010.
My first and 2nd visits were on MY Money - All the rest on Other People's Money
Still good memories of climbing the ultra tight narrow steps the Hunchback of Notre Dame took. That alone was worth the cost of the trip. My Girlfriend flashed the Royal Place guards (only A cups) so the guards did not flinch.
