You can only have one gallery. I want one for the images that turn me on and another one for images of pure art, then maybe also one for the images that are funny. I'm never in the mood for all of the three at the same time, I'd have to be crazy to be so.
"No, you can't have multiple accounts but you can have multiple blogs. When you register one email address, you can't use it again on a new account. However, you can create several blogs on the same account. You can have up to 100 blogs in one account (1 main blog + 99 sideblogs)."
Steps
Log into Tumblr. Enter your e-mail address and password as Tumblr asks.
Go to the dashboard. ...
Click the Account button. ...
Click the Settings button. ...
Click Create a new blog , located on the right side of the screen, under the section Blogs.
Fill in the necessary information. ...
Click Create (private) blog . ...
Done.
Now IF you want to have a completely New 2nd account? Of course you will need a different e-mail address. I am going to leave something out and you should be able to fill in the blanks - And if you cannot do that then catch me tomorrow in IRC chat and I will fill in the blanks in PM mode OK Because sharing one critical detail exposes something I do here and we know how that information can be used to harrass me.
So please consider this simple scenario - In a single household one may have Marge and Homer and Lisa and Bart & each has the right to own their own private Tumblr account. Each of course will have their own e-mail address. Even IF Tumblr were to limite one account per household, again getting past that is totally simple.
It's similar to Gmail storage accounts. They tell you about a limit per account for free storage. Just takes a different email addy for each new account nor do they have a rule against that.
