OK OK - Some people meet gals in a bar - The need to be high to loosen up and all and maybe that works for a few - I do not recommend that.
I do recommend for ninjj that he locate where emo's hang out and go out and hang with them. Get to know them for real and enjoy with them and connect up.
IF I wanted to hang out with those into String Theory for example? I could attend TED events. Or lectures at the huge number of at local colleges - universities.
Real people gaining knowledge -
I highly recommend going on hikes- People, healthy people go out and enjoy nature and hiking clubs are everywhere - That sure worked for me - Ski Clubs very healthy and that WORKED for Me. A business travel agent said I needed to get away and learn to Ski and Damn that sure worked for me - Healthy people getting more healthy and those Endorphins and even falling while learning was fun lots of fun.
People I surf with are healthy and they sure connect up on Oceans a Blue -
Of course I recommend Festivals of all kinds. People out and about at Art events - Music Events - Dancing Events -
The thing about dancing is that one cannot dance and be drunk because no partner is going to say YES if the guy asking is drunk -
People don't ski on drugs and live - I know a few skate borders that met the love of their life while skating and one I No is Famous worldwide as a result.
I met a nurse on a beach walk - I said to self I have never dated a Nurse so we gave that a go.
And as to connecting via Technology? Sure I did that and married as a result -
Anon J - A healthy Hobby is a great way to meet people - I do 24/hr fitness daily - That place has become Legend for healthy people connecting and I see it daily.
Anyway - bottom line is to be Healthy and remain Healthy and connect Healthy and Stay Healthy and to connect with people.
The net? A good way to blow off steam and have some laffs - Meeting via this net - Bad stories that Tryptch and ducky can share

Memories of 10,000 species of Mushrooms in Big Basin Redwood state park and Skyline to the Sea trail and going to Los Gatos via the trail.
