Topic: I finally proved that Father Merrin is a fake priest
Priestbuster 3000 started this discussion 6 years ago#89,552
He said that he gave the homily last Sunday on a verse from Galatians. However, all Catholic priests follow the same liturgical schedule, which tells them which verse to preach about. Last Sunday was John 1:1. Busted!
And as pointed out to you in that thread, the only thing you have "finally proved" is that you have no idea what the terms you are using actually mean.

Actually wasting time trying to prove he isn't a priest or him trying to prove he is a priest is a waste of time unless your brain is so burnt out from booze and drugs. Anyone with only a couple of brain cells left knows a fucking priest wouldn't waste time in a place like this. Especially all the time used trying to prove he is...no real priest would do it or care. Enjoy his shtick but to think anyone with half a brain believes it is fucking hilarious.

This is literally the funniest self-own since my old pal Omen walked head-first into admitting he'd been lying about serving as a "military police officer":
> Is there a single person here or anywhere on the planet who actually thinks Father Merrin is an ordained Catholic priest?
"A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word 'darkness' on the walls of his cell" - C.S.Lewis.
In a similar way, the truth of my being a priest remains unaffected and undiminished by whether or not people believe it. But regardless, I am one.

Why do you assume priests are some rarified species who do nothing outside of their churches? As modern priests we go where we feel ministry is most needed. That includes Minichan, a forum most famous for offering advice on how to cheaply end one's life, which is one of the most egregious of sins.
Honestly, you needn't think of us priests as radically different from yourselves. The only real difference between a Catholic priest and a Minichan regular is the lack of a sex life. In all other ways we are the same.
God bless us all.

You are all apparently too stupid to understand the point. There is a Catholic liturgical calendar. Before the homily, there is a reading. It is the same reading for every Catholic church. The priest then gives a homily with that reading as a base for the topic. Sunday's reading was Luke 1:1, but Merrin says he gave the homily on Galatians. Surely you are not all too thick to see how that proves he is fake?

However I'm sure he delights in making you try to prove that he isn't, because he thinks he some kind of amazing troll. He will also no doubt continue to plug the same priest schtick, regardless, until he gets bored of it and moves onto his next scheme, which will be equally lame & transparent and of course somehow related to pedophilia. No, we all got the point. You have no idea what happens at a Catholic service (it is very obvious you hastily looked up what "homily" means after you illustrated you think it's the same as a sermon) and you have never been present at one when the priest or deacon will connect the Scripture readings to the daily lives of the congregation, bringing in other readings and Bible passages.
So, yeah, we all "got the point": you started out wrong and just kept on digging that hole deeper for yourself. Very reminiscent of a certain 'Matthew' I must say.

Remarkable isn't it? This person who keeps (wrongly) insisting I am not a real priest, yet can provide not one shred of evidence to back up his claim. Nobody had actually spelled it out though, or maybe I didn't search enough - I'm not so obsessed as to go trawling through the chan history. I thought it worth doing so because it's relevant to your general M.O., given the subject of this thread. It's similar to when you got people thinking that your real name was actually Simon Kirby (back when you were a shitty cartoonist who drew/traced smooth shiny bottoms) and nobody seemed to realize that was clearly a reference to Jack Kirby and Joe Simon of Timely Comics.

TG's argument style alternates between straw man and personal attacks, and when that doesn't get him anywhere, he resorts to sock-puppetry... for example, you.
I would bet you work at a call center, mid to late twenties, play lots of video games, virgin, no serious relationship ever, high school graduate with some community college, severely depressed

Lol, then you would lose, TG.

Falling back on the "everyone who disagrees with me is TG" defence? I suppose after your embarrassing love letter to Matthew Miller (a guy who requested sexual pictures from a child - tell us more about your disgust for pedophilia, you haven't been projecting quite enough) you had nowhere further left to fall.
It was fun toying with you but I honestly didn't intend to break you like this.

I think this is spot on. That ode to the "show me your vulva, child" guy was really pretty stunning and kind of revealed why he's been so worked up about all this.

Oh, TGComix... The gift that keeps on giving. I can't believe how beautifully that worked again. Push "Jealousy of Matt" button => results!

We should pray that he doesn’t own any firearms and that he would receive access to mental healthcare asap

Yep, he's been pushed over the edge. Now he's trying to walk back his love letter to the 'child vulva guy'. Hilarious but also desperately sad to watch him flailing now.

And he's STILL ranting and raving. Looks like you're incredibly upset this time, TG. Has your jealousy deepened?

lmao. TGcomix so mad about this thread that he's trying to garner support about it on TC, where he also daily gets played like a Strad by Paganini.

I haven't posted there today. But thank you for keeping everyone informed on TC's latest updates. It's rivetting.

I think more Catholic congregations need weekly updates on what's new on TC/MC. Reaching out across the divides that plague our society.
