He NHS has always been shit and it isn't down to muh Tories. I remember during Blairs Labour and being offered an old bed sheet for a towel at Newham hospital.
At it's very best the NHS is mediocre at doing some things and poor at the rest. We need to accept this. Yeah I'm sure the staff try hard and care but the whole system is fubar

Bollocks. Objectively not true, if you care to look at rankings and performance stats. It's one of the best healthcare systems in the world. Of course there's room for improvement, but there always is.
This is what the Tories do — mismanage something long enough that it begins to suffer, and then point to this "poor performance" as proof that privatisation is needed. It was only October last year the Tories "miscalculated" pensions, and — whoops! — gotta cut another £2.7bn from the NHS!
If you can't see the blatant mistreatment of the NHS you're either blind or abjectly retarded. This is their game, and they're winning.
