this duck was so weird. he let me get like 6 inches away and didn't care.he flew away later though.

I've had them walk on my shoes to eat, and they'll eat crackers out of my hands (bad idea, but it's fun). Ducks, especially Muscovies and other domestics, can get really desensitized to people. Domestic geese breeds even moreso.
Edit:
Always wash your hands after letting ducks/geese eat out of your hands, btw. Still, I'll probably be patient zero for whatever horrific bird plague wipes out modern civilization.
