I expect Father Merrin to get all of them correct. If not, that would be the first evidence that maybe he isn't who he says he is. What do your results look like fora?

15/15. That is a ludicrously simple test, the only question I could accept the average person not knowing is about the doctrine of salvation through faith alone. The rest aren't even 'religion' questions, they are (or at least ought to be) common knowledge. I despair if that statistic on the site is true and the average American could only answer around half of those questions. How is it even possible to be that thoroughly ignorant?

Given how Protestant America is, I would assume they'd get the salvation by faith thing right but the transubstantiation thing wrong, but yeah none of these were outside the realm of what I'd consider ordinary religious knowledge.

I got 14/15. I put that Jewish Sabbath begins on Saturday. I forgot about the Friday evening part.

That's the most important part!!! Jewish holidays are observed sunndown to sundown, unlike most other religions.

Does that test have any questions as to why the Catholic Church has become the Pedophile Catholic Church?

Oh look, someone wants to talk about pedophilia.

To be fair if you look at the Catholic church in the news, the news is loaded with church's pedo problems.

And if you look at Islam in the news, the news is loaded with terrorism and war. Conclusion: 'the news' necessarily selects negative stories. How many clicks would a story about the Catholic Church financing a medical centre in Lesotho garner?

No. Those were very easy questions.

The only one I got wrong was the Jewish sabbath one, I thought it was Saturday but upon reflection I remembered that it occurs from sunset the night before, Friday.

13/15
Apparently the Jewish Sabbath does not, in fact, begin on Saturday! And I got the "faith alone" question wrong.
So, in summary, I blame the Jews for this.

You "figured" someone with my education would need to Google such confounding head-scratchers as which practitioners wear turbans, who offered to sacrifice his son Isaac (bearing in mind I have a print of Rembrandt's painting of this episode in my library/study), and what Ramadan is?

13/15 - Buddhism truth, and apparently Kabbalah doesn't have its roots in Zoroastrianism after all. Otherwise the questions were very easy.
