Kimmo of course ran out of Web hosts and servers. Sure he could find a few that allowed him to stay, but those were the ones easy to jam up. The last SP that he liked was located in Downtown Los Angeles and it was really expensive. It was co-located on the same floor as stuff I had occasion to visit. Talking the Tech on duty to turn OFF the anti spam controls was a cake walk. I think Kimmo moved on to two other SP's before throwing in the towel. I loved just loved his rants about the SP's.

It would be interesting if they mentioned the AT clone boards that sprung up in AnonTalk's wake. Sure it was about fucking around with Kimmo a lot of the time, but it was just as much about enjoying the same kind of community without him. The BBS idea was pretty good. It just needed to be run by someone who wasn't a psychotic control freak.
If you go into all the shit that happened on TC and MC, then it paints Kimmo in the end as being done in by own creation: communities of people on AT-style boards that wore him down eventually with all their antics.

Not to sound arrogant, but I don't really trust anyone but a TCer or and MCer to tell the full story of AT. It's all well and good telling the basic outline of his fight with 4chan, but you had to be here to see the later and more subtle stuff. Stuff like the Wiseguy paranoia and defections, or why Kimmo eventually lost AT. And then the even later stuff like KimmoA.se.
