This is a very interesting question. While at first you might be thinking about which one is strongest or most intimidating, choices like Cathy also have merit in that it would be easy to abandon them to any attackers while you flee.
Going to have to think about this more and come back to it. Just a really, really interesting scenario.

Okay, I've run the data. Here is my analysis.
Becky: sadly, she is a comedy choice only. While she's very good at online put-downs, the reality is that she is a short McDonald's addict. She would only be useful as an expendable distraction, and not even the best one at that.
But as company, she is probably the best apart from Meta. She'll make you laugh before you're both stabbed to death.
Bert: he is an unfit older man, but I have a feeling that his stupidity and blindness to his own shortcomings would mean he would eagerly fight any attackers. He would be the ideal distraction choice, very easy to run away while he is beaten by the attackers, all of whom would despise him as soon as he said anything and thus not be focused on you.
But as a person, he is intolerable. Frankly, there is a high risk that you will be the one to attack him if you have to walk with him.
Syntax: he is a frail old man. However, he could have a similar advantage to Bert in that he is deluded. If Syntax truly believes that he trained US marines, invented martial arts, or is friends with every MMA fighter, then he will immediately charge in and draw the attention of any attackers.
His quality as company depends on if you enjoy long lectures about Matt and wild claims of expertise in everything.
Meta: He listens to rap and apparently has a "big" "ass" knife. So he could perhaps fend off an attack if you helped him. I am disappointed that he didn't say he has "big" "ass" gun instead since he loves guns, but oh well.
As company, he's the best. He'll spout the finest most classic Minichan memes during your journey.
Catherine: a great choice for a distraction. His frail, woman-like physique means that you could physically throw him at an attacker and then flee. The attacker will then be bombarded with questions, ensuring that they are too mentally confused to throw him off and chase you.
His inane questions make him a poor choice of company though.
Dinosaur anon: I don't know anything about him. But we can safely assume that a man who collects dinosaurs that well has an eye for detail. He could see attackers coming sooner and warn you.
If you enjoy dinosaurs, I'm sure he's fine company.
