If all of you were blindfolded and put into a room, then played the same music consecutively on different audio brands, and you did not know it was Bose, you would definitely rank Bose's sound among the top ones.

Again your brain was robbed by fail of hole in lung as I did NOT make those replies.
Fact is and this is a very simple test anyone here can try on any audio product - Of course it does require the tester to have basic knowledge of say a Piano or Guitar or violin or say any horn instrument
When you hear the Piano does it sound like the Piano is of the size a piano should be? or is it the same size of a Violin? Does a guitar also sound like it's the same size of a Piano
Size matters.
Bose products truly do distort so many audio factors and they do that on purpose - Now fact is this pleases some percentage of the marketplace -
Just as some people come to buy Fish sticks in frozen food section - Many choices so clearly there are people who grew up on the distorted Fish product and enjoy that sorta thing.
Takes a village
Oh and over the early years of Bose I attended a conference where the founder gave talks and hyped his product - I think I was introduced to him but I was not impressed with the products and frankly do not remember if I met Bose - Bose at time was big on the folded horn and I am not a fan of Horns as loud speakers but they do have a place when nothing else will do the job - A necessary workhorse - NOT a quality end product however -
I do not wear Bose headphones in my Gym but others do

You are wrong. Bose is the best.

Simply not true. It is well known that Bose go for comfort and noise cancellation over audio quality. Bose are OK, but definitely not the best. They are also overpriced.
