lol they sure do but doing it just for the sake of doing it can lead to issues. Easy to check to view version and last update and then look up if there are newer updates. Usually not critical if you don't.

No I get annoyed that I have to update my bios but also I have heard that you shouldn't update your bios if everything is working fine
