Google's last "diversification"-esque update was terrible. I don't know/care about Minichan (we disabled Google Analytics a long time ago, so we have no analytics), but the impact on some of the other sites I'm involved in running was pretty heavy. The update broadly aimed to do the same thing: ensure no single site appeared "too often" in any one results page (SERP). Intended to help out small(er) sites, it wound up having the opposite effect on overall traffic if your site was highly ranked for certain keywords. It basically penalised success, and promoted junk results.

But what if we're the junk results that get promoted??

I hope so! I'll stay optimistic. After all, we answer such vital questions as "How do I have sex with my dog?", "How can I cheaply kill myself?", "How many days are there until Christmas?" and so on.

Why does google analytics show up as being blocked by noscript and ghostery if it is disabled?

No clue. The only script we use is Cloudflare's. You can check our pages' source to verify. You can also open the Dev Tools/Inspector and visit the Network tab and F5 a page.
Perhaps an extension or some other program is injecting analytics scripts into pages you visit or something along those lines.

Google is such a shit company. In China they regulate the internet according to the government, other places they just privately use their algorithm to ignore ideas that aren't in the mainstream or shove them back to an obscure third page or further.
Anyone who thinks the Google search engine is implemented well in it's current iteration is a fool.

Huge list of what China blocks on the internet.
One MC member had to use a VPN while in China to access MC while recuperating from Foot in Mouse diseases and Hole in Lung.

So you mean to say that more popular results come higher in the search rankings than less popular results?

I'm just calling out their shadow banning policies. China is outright about it
