I mean, unless you have billions of dollars, there no real point in putting it in a bank to gain the interest right? It'll be like one cent a month. Plus the idea basically giving my money to some guy I don't know (bank owner) just so he can spend it, make a profit on his investments, and then give me the same amount back...I just don't see any real reason or incentive for it.

You gonna mail cash in for all your bills? I don't like banks either, but they do make money exchanges extremely simple, secure and quick.

OP is either a fucking retard or twelve, remember that economics class in high school? Inflation will eat away at your savings, but a bank account generally offers enough interest to cover this loss. And our whole economy depends on loans banks give out to establish and run businesses.
